FAQ
What is coverage research?
A paid report on whether a specific conference covers speaker travel and accommodation. You give me the conference and I research and tell you its policy - covered, not covered, scholarship, negotiable, or unknown - with notes on what I found. It's for conferences you have in mind that aren't already on Cuefolio.
How long does it take?
I research each report personally. Standard reports arrive within 5–7 business days; Concierge reports are prioritized and arrive within 2–3 business days. Both tiers are human-fulfilled, not automated.
What if the conference doesn't cover travel, or there's no clear answer?
You're paying for the research, not for a "yes." A clear "not covered," or "here's what's unclear and who to ask," still saves you time and money. In the rare case I can't produce any answer at all, I'll refund you.
What's the difference between Standard ($29) and Concierge ($99)?
Standard is the travel & accommodation coverage report for one conference, delivered within 5–7 business days. Concierge is faster (2–3 business days) and adds priority handling, a check on whether your speaker ticket is comped, suggested outreach if coverage is unclear or negotiable, and follow-up if I need to clarify details with you.
The conference I want is already on Cuefolio - do I need this?
No. If I already track a conference, you can reveal its travel and accommodation details directly with a reveal credit - no need to pay for custom research. Coverage research is for conferences not yet in the database, and if you submit one I already have, I'll point you to it before you pay.
Do you guarantee the conference will cover my travel?
No. I research and report the conference's policy as accurately as I can; I don't influence or guarantee the organizer's decision. Always confirm final details directly with the organizer.
